the GoNex Rider app and our website at gonex.tech. We are committed to protecting the
privacy of our riders.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard rider information. It
applies only to the GoNex Rider app and rider accounts. Driver data is covered separately in
the GoNex Driver Privacy Policy.

● Payment information (processed securely via third‑party payment processors)
● Profile photo (optional for rider accounts)
● Communications with GoNex support

● Location data (GPS coordinates during active trips)

##Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from payment processors, cloud providers, and analytics services.

We use rider information to:

● Provide, maintain, and improve the Rider app
● Match riders with available drivers

● Communicate with you about your account and trips

● With Drivers: To facilitate rides, we share your name, pickup/drop‑off location, and
real‑time trip status with matched drivers.

● With Service Providers: We share information with trusted third‑party vendors
(payment processors, cloud infrastructure, analytics). These providers are contractually
required to protect your information.

● For Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or
government authority.

● Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your
information may be transferred.

We do not sell rider personal information to third parties.

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect rider data, including encryption
in transit and at rest, PCI DSS‑compliant payment processing, fraud detection systems,
and restricted employee access.

We retain rider information only as long as necessary to provide services or meet legal and
business obligations.

● Trip records: Retained for up to 2 years for service history and dispute resolution.
● Payment data: Retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting compliance.
● Support communications: Retained for up to 3 years for customer service tracking.

Riders may request deletion or export of their personal information by contacting
privacy@gonex.tech or using in‑app privacy settings. Requests will be honored within the
legally required timeframe

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights regarding your personal information,
including:

● The right to access the personal information we hold about you
● The right to correct inaccurate information
● The right to request deletion of your information
● The right to opt out of targeted advertising and certain uses of your data
● The right to data portability where applicable

We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals and other legally recognized opt‑out
preference mechanisms.

GoNex requires access to your device's location to provide core platform functionality, including ride matching, navigation, and trip tracking. You may disable location access in your device settings, but this will prevent you from using key features of the platform.

Driver location is tracked during active trips to provide real-time navigation, accurate fare calculation, and to allow riders to track their ride. Location data outside of active trips is not collected from rider accounts.

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your experience, analyze site traffic, and support platform security. You may control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website.

The GoNex platform is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe a minor has provided personal information to us may contact privacy@gonex.tech.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and, where appropriate, by in-app notification or email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy reflects the most recent revision.
